About DJ SuperCub
Always interested in dance music, DJ SuperCub (aka DJ J.P.) started his career by spinning Stars on 45 medleys together in his bedroom, making tapes and giving them to anyone that would listen. In the late 1980s he took his DJing skills to the club and spun in Jamestown, N.Y.and Erie, Pa. before relocating to Central New York. In Utica, J.P. was the house DJ at "That Place" from 1992 to 2002. During this time he was also an air personality and later Program Director for radio station "Wow-FM, The Beat of Central New York". J.P. retired from radio in 2004 and adopted the name "DJ SuperCub". He went freelance in 2005, spinning at various bear and leather events throughout the Northeast. Now completely digital and spinning everything from the 70s to the latest beats of today, DJ SuperCub spins on the internet and is once again one of the house DJs at That Place in Utica.
